This was a quiet rainy day at the park until this over protective mother flipped out on her daughter for walking more than 10 feet away from her... Made everyone within shouting distance uncomfortable...

Here's one of our tattoo artists, she's never very "Thrilled" to be at the park...

Ghetto girls... They love to show off their goods no matter what shape or size. God forbid you should leave out their obnoxious hoop earrings in a caricature...

Here are a few of todays finest youth, walking around aimlessly catching flies with their dumbfounded open mouth look...

I'm always amazed by the infinitely different shapes the body takes as it gets older...

Here's a dynamic duo from park services... They are very important though, they keeps those bathrooms spick and span.

Here's a supervisor at the Park, nothing special going on, just some premature balding.

This guy had a huge head for his body... I couldn't resist.

This guy reminds me of a character you might see in some fantasy movie with warlocks and gremlins or something... great beard though

This one's a crowd pleaser, the hippie fully decked out with dreads, bandana, shaggy face, and man-purse or "satchel" (The Hangover) Anyone? Anyone? ehhh....

Here's a creepy old guy walking around the park, somewhat resembling Neil Young only larger in the midsection and nasty work boots...

Another shapely park employee, don't know where they keep finding these plump people... The mandatory employee getup isn't flattering on anyone to begin with...

Here's another two-fer since this is the first time I've been on the computer since my last posting... work, work, work.... Definitely not complaining though, for the first time this season the park has finally started to get packed everyday meaning more money...Here's some shy emo high school kid I saw while eating at "Wabbits" funny head shape to go with the glasses and one of the few skinny people working at The Park...
Not much explanation needed here...

Here's a peek at one of my newer drawings, hopefully the shapes and forms of the body look better than some of the first drawings I posted. I feel more confident drawing certain aspects of the body (as cartoony as they are) showing myself that all of the drawings I've done are paying off...

This post is a two-fer since I didn't get a chance to post one yesterday... The first is a usual sighting at the park- the mother waiting for her kids and holding all of the bags full of god knows what... Oh, and she has a fupa.

This type of guy is also very popular, looks like he goes to the gym to work nothing but his arms and chest, shaves his prematurely balding head, and obviously loves to drink beer.

Todays post is a frequent sighting at the park, usually women of latin descent but mostly anyone trashy looking who wears something showing far too much of their overly flabby, curvaceous bodies.... I don't understand it, but I personally don't want to show off my body when I'm packing a couple extra pounds added on let alone a couple hundred extra pounds.

A former caricaturist who was caught sleeping/texting on the job by some random Park manager... Great physique to draw, seeing him walk reminded me of the supposed "sasquatch" film where it turns to look back just before going behind a tree... Oh Quirk.

This guy wasn't exactly a spur of the moment drawing since I had already done a caricature of him and his son. Needless to say I drew him in my notebook as soon as he left the booth...

Might as well be the caricaturist's arch-nemesis... the trash can drummers, high school band rejects with less rhythm than me. For some reason they love to set up right next to our booth so you cannot even hear yourself think, let alone draw someone or try to make conversation...

This beautiful he/she works in cash control at the park, definitely need to work out her overall appearance in future sketches to truly convey her full uniqueness...

This is actually the first sketch I did in my notebook... The finished product showed me that my full body drawings needed a lot of work, resulting in an entire sketchbook of about 80 different characters that will all eventually end up here..... stay tuned

Sketchy Stuff #1

Ok so here it goes.... the first of many postings from my handy pocket sized moleskin sketchbook and it's a zinger- one one of my favorite Park employees to look at, every time I see him it puts a smile on my face... There will be more sketches of him to come without a doubt.
